Matthew started out coding in BASIC on the TI-83 calculator as a sophomore in high school. He helped a friend code and publish the game Tank War 83. Less than a year later, Matthew enrolled in the IT TechPrep program at Centerville H.S., which allowed him to build a strong foundation in programming before enrolling in the Computer Science program at Ohio State.
While attending Ohio State, Matthew specialized in Software Systems with an emphasis on mathematics and algorithms. Lately, Matthew has focused primarily on web technologies and distributed systems. You are looking at his most recent project; Matthew has designed and developed this entire site himself. The MySQL database, CSS design, and PHP scripting was all done by hand and from scratch.
